Difference 1: Different scope of application
The wall inkjet machine mainly replaces the traditional hand-painting, inkjet cloth and other processes of making patterns on the wall, focusing on personalized customization to improve efficiency, but it does not mean that it can completely replace the previous process. If the printer uses the same inkjet printing technology, the requirements for details such as flatness, smoothness, and drop of the material surface are high, and the wall is generally required to be white. It just prints patterns on the surface of the wall and on the wall.
UV flatbed printers do not limit the types of materials, which can be ceramic tiles, glass, acrylic, etc., or hundreds of materials such as metal, leather, wood, etc., which can greatly broaden the market channels of users. The two also have overlapping places. The background wall, decorative wall and wall-painted printing pattern printed by UV flatbed printer are made of ceramic tile, glass and fiberboard, and the two functions are the same. However, the market segments are also different. UV flatbed printers focus on the color painting of mid-to-high-end walls, and wall inkjet printers focus on mid-to-low-end walls, similar to new rural slogans, primary and secondary school playground propaganda boards, and so on.
Difference 2: Weather resistance and post-maintenance are different
The background wall made of tiles and glass is mounted on the wall. Unless it is physically damaged, the pattern on the surface will not fall off, crack, etc. Especially after spraying varnish, the printing quality will be guaranteed for more than 30 years. If the wall inkjet printer is sprayed directly on the white wall, physical friction, slight collision, etc., may damage the surface of the wall and cause the pattern to fall off.
In the later maintenance, the daily cleaning and cleaning of the background wall made of tile glass will not affect it. On the contrary, the pattern directly on the wall will not fade in a large area when wiped with water at the beginning, but after a long time, it cannot be guaranteed.
Of course, technical indicators such as printing effect, printing process, water resistance of the surface pattern of the substrate, scratch resistance, etc. are also very different. After all, the consumables and drying principles of the two are different.
