What Are The Characteristics Of Wall Painting Pigments?

On the market today, there are only three most common pigments: gouache, acrylic, and oil paint. Our choice to use propylene as a product was not made out of thin air, but was determined on demand. Acrylic pigments are commonly used, which are synthetic polymeric pigments. They were invented in the 1950s and are made of pigment powder mixed with acrylic latex. So let me explain to you what are the characteristics of wall painting pigments?

1. It can be released with water, which is convenient for cleaning.

2. Quick-drying, the paint can be dried in a few minutes after the pen is dropped, and it is not necessary to wait several months after the completion of the oil painting. Painters who prefer slow-drying characteristic pigments can use retarders to delay the drying time of the pigments.

3. The coloring layer will quickly lose its solubility after drying, and at the same time form a tough, elastic and impermeable film. This membrane is similar to rubber.

4. The color is full, thick and fresh, no matter how it is reconciled, there will be no "dirty" or "grey" feeling. The pigmented layer will never absorb oil and smudge.

5. The durability of the work is longer. The oil film in the oil painting is easy to oxidize after a long time, and the yellowing and hardening can easily cause the picture to crack. In theory, acrylic film will never become brittle and will never turn yellow.
